I love, love, love, love, love the webcast conference call!! It’s great because we get to see you so ppl know that you’re real and that you’re not just some foo-foo type person and it’s
coming from the heart and not scripted!
It was great because I miss seeing you and your passion! =) The only problem is that there’s a discrepency between the video feed and the telephone. It’s about a 30 second delay. It’s okay though because I somehow feel more connected to you. =) Sometimes it would break into “Not Broadcasting” and it would show some of the other Dani Johnson videos; it would only last for about 15 seconds and then we’d see you again.
I think the video is good because it keeps ppls attention more….it keeps ppl from being
distracted.
Thanks for the GREAT call. all the examples were great and I’m definitely going to be listening to them again. I’ll see you in Detroit!!!

Great job…it was wonderful to see you on video! To actually see you taking notes was a comfort. For some reason, I’d gotten the idea that your brain was some kind of phenomenal memorizing computer! Mine definitely is not! So, yes, the video feed was awesome and did make the call/session feel much more intimate.
Two things. PRIDE. Yes, I am a horrible victim of it and I’m so sick of my own pride that I’m kicking my own…butt.
Spirituality…I have been basking so much in my renewed spirituality since attending my first First Steps to Success that I had forgotten what got me here, and that was the basic need to help fix my family’s financial picture!
PRIDE and a very steeped-in-tradition religious background has blinded me to the simple truth that God is not containable. I keep putting Him in the ‘religious box’ of Sabbath days and closet prayers…thus, not honoring Him by making Him my business partner. I am overwhelmed that He would want to be my partner, but my heart knows…knows, knows that He has offered and stands at the door and knocks. You have reminded me of that! I obviously need to be re-programmed and hear that a LOT!
On the subject of religion, I teach a Sunday School class of 11 year olds. I look at them all according to their little, raw personalities and it has made a HUGE difference in the way I relate to them and love them. When I teach them to take what they’ve learned outside of the Church, to love…the spirit explodes in that room, all of us grateful for our Savior and knowing it is our responsibility to take His teachings into our daily lives..not just leave it there on Sunday! Eleven year olds, Dani…I’ve seen tears in their eyes…this is by far not a run of the mill Sunday School where they are taught to judge instead of love.

What an exceptionally great call. Webcast too – nice touch! It was like having you in my office, bridging a much needed gap in technology.
